Yet another action packed weekend!

Well, it's Saturday and for the second weekend in a row I have just got back home from school! It's not bad eh, but it's new. I had a lot of fun today hand-picking grass, putting up banners and signs, practicing races and just liming with students and teachers. Tomorrow is my school's Sports day so we had preparations today (work as usual though doh get tie up...work starts at 8.25am and finishes at 4.10pm) Everyday I learn something new at school today I learned you can't even suck a mint once you are out of the staff room. No eating whatsoever, same goes for cell phones. That's because students can't so set example. (I was wondering why once of teachers was waving hysterically at me one day when I was strolling the corridors in a free period happily munching on my apple... I mistook the horror on her face for enthusiasm at seeing the new foreign teacher)
Anyway, I realized I need to close my eyes when I'm passing the department store just before my apartment. I walked in there today soley to buy some bread. However being the spontaneous shopper I have found myself to be, before I even picked up a basket I already had a sushi bento in my hand (OISHI!!! Japanese for tasty). An just when I was leaving with my basket of goodies ended up buying some milk and tempura (fried foods...just too tempting...I literally closed my eyes until I go to the bread or else I would have been in there for quite a while...then closed my eyes to the cashier).

Tomorrow is a big day so I'm going to get some rest tonight. My backk is still hurting a bit from Sumo yesterday... that is one tough sport but ah love it (next week I'll have my first match... no I don't have pictures I intentionally forget my camera when I go to sumo no need for anyone else to see me outfitted in the stiff loin wrap we wear.) Sports day (teachers have to be at school as any other work day 8:25am), and my friend Sandy (Trini) and Andy are coming to watch the sports festival as well. Then in the evening I have my welcome party thrown by the teachers (rel rel beer and food... all in my honour... this is why I had to practice drinking a few before left Trinidad...only drank 3 but that should be enough for me). Anyways bla bla bla bla... I know I talk too much...

Laterz
