This week there are fewer classes in 2 of the 3 schools I'm teaching in because they have Sports Day on Sunday. What's the link you ask? Well would you believe that they have practice or rehearsal for the entire sports day; from the march band to the handing of certificated to the fun races and the theatrical dances are all rehearsed so that everything is familiar and most of all efficient on Sunday. I find that amazing! I'm getting ideas for when I'm ready to start the Irwin Institute of Advanced Learning. But the Sports Days are really something to see and enjoy. Anyways you know I can ramble on an on... there is so much that happens in one day here for me it's amazing, even a boring day. And don't talk about the number of names I have to try to remember. Hiroshi, Masaru, Susume, Matsushita, Nagyo are just half the names I learnt and had to remember today...the other half I've forgotten and will have to smile and bow pretending I remember until I can fake no more.
